Fishermen Captures What No One Was Supposed To See

A number of strange and mysterious underwater events have occurred over the years. One was in March 2013, when a crew on a submarine off the coast of Greenland saw a mermaid-like creature swimming near their ship, leading to a ban on new oil exploration in the area. Another incident saw fishermen catch a mermaid-like creature with webbed hands, but they threw it back into the sea out of fear.

In addition, a 20-foot giant squid was caught by fishermen off the coast of Ireland, marking the seventh time in 350 years that this type of creature has been recorded. Video of the squid went viral, leaving people wondering why deep-sea creatures were appearing so close to the surface. Elsewhere, a fisherman caught a strange creature that looked like a giant beetle, sparking curiosity about the creature.

In Norway, a fishing camp leader pulled in a giant halibut measuring 6 feet long and weighing around 350 pounds. However, they decided to release the fish back into the sea. In the Bahamas, fishermen encountered a giant 14-foot tiger shark and, after a thrilling struggle, released it back into the ocean. An unfortunate incident occurred at a marlin tournament in North Carolina, where fishermen caught a 619-pound marlin but were unable to win the $3.5 million prize because the fish was found to have bite marks.

Fishermen have also encountered strange creatures such as a large wolffish with sharp teeth and a 16-foot tiger shark in Java. A fisherman once caught a giant sturgeon in the Fraser River but let it escape. In a sensational 2023 incident, a creature with a cartoon-like head was found on the shores of Thailand, surprising locals.
