Exes Brittany And Leo Announce The Love Is Blind Season 7 Reunion

While every season of Love Is Blind is full of ups and downs for the cast members, not everything can be captured in the limited episodes. After the reality TV show concludes, often fans are still left with questions about their favorite couples and what happens to them after filming concludes.

This is where the Love Is Blind reunion episodes come in, allowing viewers to catch up with the cast members and see what they’ve gotten up to ever since the cameras have been turned off. In advance of the final episodes of Season 7 airing, two former cast members, Leo and Brittany, reunited to give a funny announcement about the reunion.

Brittany Poked Fun At This One Detail About Leo

In the official announcement video put out by Netflix, Brittany and Leo appear together in front of a white backdrop, standing close together. The scene is one that is sure to get fans’ attention from the start, as those who watched the beginning episodes of the season will know that Brittany and Leo are actually ex-fiancés.

While the two chose to get engaged in the pods, once they had their in-person reveal (including a very awkward first kiss), Brittany confessed to the cameras that she didn’t feel that Leo was her person. After that point, production didn’t ask Leo and Brittany to join them on the couples’ trip to Cabo, and they instead took their own trip to Miami, where, after a week, the two wound up calling things off.

Why the controversial couple never made it past their reveal.

Since then, Leo has been teased by fans online for the way his edit on the show turned out. For one, viewers have pointed out that Leo spent a lot of his screentime talking about his wealth and how well-off he was, so much so that it almost seemed comical. Part of his comments were about the fact that he owned a nice Rolex watch, which also makes an appearance in the video—and which Brittany seemed to reference.

“Hey Leo, do you know what time it is?” Brittany says in her opening line, prompting Leo to bring up his watch. “You can just ask if you want to see the Rol-” he starts, before Brittany playfully cuts him off, grabbing his wrist and yanking it down and out of view of the camera, laughing as Leo insists that he’s only kidding.

The pair goes on to actually making the announcement that they’re there to share: the official Love Is Blind Season 7 reunion will air on Wednesday, October 30th on Netflix, just in time for Halloween. Before the two sign off, Leo teases Brittany, asking her a question:

Should we blow them a kiss goodbye?

“Sure!” responds Brittany, and the two make smooching sounds towards the camera, a reference to the way that they would say “mwah mwah” over and over to one another at the end of their pod dates. The sound was one that was largely championed by Leo and that he’s since been teased by fans for online. At least now Leo seems to be aware of how cringey it came off, playing up the ridiculousness of the scenario.

Fans Reacted To Seeing Leo And Brittany Reunited

Viewers of the show may have been surprised to see the exes back together in the video, as the end of their appearance on the show was extremely sudden and left many wondering if things didn’t end well when the two parted ways. In the comments under the video, fans shared their opinions on seeing Brittany and Leo next to one another.

“The chemistry is just soooooo awkward it’s cringe to watch these two,” wrote one. Others were more supportive of their appearance, noting that they at least appreciated how self-aware Brittany and Leo seemed to be about their edit on the show. “At least these two have a sense of humour about it,” they commented.

Other viewers joked that they felt terrorized from hearing all the “mwah” sounds once more, still not yet recovered from suffering through the sound during the pod episodes. While most seemed to agree that the video was meant to be light-hearted and humorous, a few fans pointed out they thought it was strange that, out of all the possible cast members, Leo and Brittany were the two that Netflix chose to bring back for the announcement.

One commenter speculated that whoever was behind the production of the video may have seen through Leo and Brittany’s priorities, and that it had played a role in their decision-making process:

Netflix with this commercial said we know both of these ppl [sic] just want to be on tv so let’s just give them an opportunity because they certainly didn’t come for love lol

Whatever the case, seeing Brittany and Leo in the video provides viewers with hope that the exes will indeed be taking part in the reunion. While their story was cut short rather abruptly during filming, no doubt both of them have plenty to share about their private trip to Florida and everything that ensued afterward. As of now, neither Brittany nor Leo has spoken in great detail about the reason behind their breakup, other than that it simply didn’t feel like the right fit and that, ultimately, they each saw each other as just good friends.

Brittany and Leo’s story won’t be the only one that fans are curious about. Another former couple, Monica and Stephen, also broke up, though much later in the season, once they had already moved in together. After Monica discovered that Stephen had been sending sexual texts to another women, the conversation dating back to before they began filming for the show, she called things off. Since then, Monica has promised fans that they’ll be able to learn more about the details of their split (and their current relationship) only if they tune into the Netflix reunion.
