Caitlin Clark’s Four-Word Response To Gabbie Marshall’s Personal Update

Caitlin Clark's Heartfelt Response To Gabbie Marshall's Viral Post - Athlon Sports

Caitlin Clark finished her rookie season with the Indiana Fever after being eliminated in the WNBA playoffs by the Connecticut Sun in just two games.

Despite the early exit, Clark’s first professional season will go down as one of the best in league history. Not only did she help the Fever make the postseason for the first time in eight years, but the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft also broke many records along the way, including the most assists in a single season.

Before she was an All-WNBA first-teamer, Clark spent four years with the Iowa Hawkeyes. Along with fellow Iowa stars such as Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin, Clark helped guide her team to two straight NCAAW national championships but fell just short in both.

On Saturday, Marshall took to Instagram to make a post about a recent date night she had. She used four different photos from her outing, including one with her man.

“date nights are my fav,” Marshall captioned the post with a green heart emoji.

left a four-word comment, expressing her thoughts on the 24-year-old’s life update.

“Hawtttttt,” Clark wrote in the comment section. “Love you two.”

In five seasons with the Hawkeyes, Marshall played in 166 games, getting the start in 137 of them. For her career, she averaged 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game. However, instead of trying for a professional basketball career, Marshall opted to retire from the sport following the 2023-24 college basketball season, electing to attend graduate school instead.
