One of the highlights of the recent episodes of Love is Blind season 7 is Tyler’s revelation to Ashley regarding his paternity in the past.
A lot of fans were surprised by the contestant’s confession and it made them wonder what it all means for the future of their relationship considering the massive implications that it may have on their dynamic.
What is Tyler’s Paternity Reveal About?
Tyler admitted to Ashley that he was a donor to a couple who was trying to start their own family. He claimed that it resulted in having three kids.
Understandably so, Ashely was shocked by their revelation, especially since Tyler did not confess during the earlier part of their relationship.
Some fans are also questioning whether Tyler is telling the whole truth about the situation or he is still hiding some aspects that could be more jarring for Ashley to find out.
The biggest burning question that fans have is whether Ashley was upset with the revelation or whether she would be willing to accept that issue and overcome whatever obstacle they have leading up to the wedding day.
What Does Ashley Think of Tyler’s Paternity Reveal?
In her responses to a couple of comments on her Instagram post, Ashley addressed her thoughts on Tyler’s paternity reveal.
She defended her partner from the criticisms as she expressed her understanding and support over Tyler’s past and she doesn’t take a huge issue with it, unlike some fans.
“I hope you never need egg donation. It’s not cool to make someone feel bad about it, it’s just genetic material, it’s not paternity,” a fan commented.
Ashley responded, “Did you hear the part where I say, ‘I’m not [mad] at him trying to help a couple start a family…in fact I find it to be admirable!’ I would NEVER EVER demean anything about a woman’s fertility.”
“I’d love to open this dialogue further. But for now I’ll say it’s more complicated when you donate to friends and family,” she added in another comment.
Another fan left a comment, “I hope you don’t disappoint me cause that man is FOUL! A whole daddy! A broke one at that cause he owes MULTIPLE women money!!!!!”
“Do you know him personally to spread such slander about my cast mate? Regardless of the choice I make. I’ll do whatever is best for me the same way I assume you live your life,” Ashley responded.
“Food for thought before I go beware of social media and the alleged unauthenticated ‘proof’ you speak of. I pray that you’ll attempt to lead with kindness moving forward.”
