Project Redsun: NASA’s Secret Manned Missions to Mars

Four Martians to return to Earth after a year on simulated Red Planet - India Today

In 1957, the first man-made satellite, Sputnik, flew across the sky, ushering in the space age. In response, the United States established NASA in 1958, with the secret goal of beating the Soviet Union in the race to the Moon. To achieve this goal, NASA undertook three phases: Mercury (to prove that humans could survive in space), Gemini (to demonstrate the ability to operate outside a spacecraft), and Apollo (to design a lunar landing). In 1969,

Apollo 11 successfully landed Neil Armstrong on the Moon, and subsequent Apollo missions were also successful. However, in 1973, NASA unexpectedly canceled the remaining three Apollo missions due to budgetary reasons. But there is a theory that Apollo 18, 19 and 20 were not canceled but were carried out in secret, and there is even evidence that NASA sent humans to Mars in 1973. According to the theory, in a secret joint project called “Project Red Sun,” the US and the Soviet Union jointly sent spacecraft to Mars from a secret base in the Amazon rainforest. An Italian journalist named Luca Scantamburlo claimed in 2011 that he had evidence that humans had set foot on Mars, including images of Buzz Aldrin on the planet.

NASA denies all allegations, but some whistleblowers have provided additional evidence, including internal NASA video from 1973. The footage shows the Columbus spacecraft with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Vladimir Ulyan approaching Mars, along with clear footage of the Martian surface and strange objects under the soil.

By 1979, a NASA employee named Jackie had reported that she and her colleagues had seen two people in protective suits appear on a Viking camera on Mars, before NASA quickly cut the signal. And in 2007, a man claiming to be former astronaut William Rutledge revealed that the Apollo 19 and 20 missions had collected alien technology from the Moon and Mars.

According to many whistleblowers, NASA has kept these missions secret, with the aim of concealing the presence of humans on Mars and the discovery of extraterrestrial life.

A series of theories about NASA’s secret space programs and the doubts surrounding the exploration of Mars. AJ begins by examining a number of photographs and videos that are said to show scenes on Mars, but suggests that many of them are staged. He demonstrates how these videos can be manipulated to create a realistic feel and a reddish-orange color similar to Mars, using software like After Effects to increase contrast and blur the frame.

AJ also mentions “Project Red Sun” – a secret US project in cooperation with the Soviet Union to send astronauts to Mars in the 1970s. Despite the rumors, AJ says there is no conclusive evidence for the existence of this project and suggests that some of these rumors stem from the pseudo-documentary *Alternative 3* (1977). The film depicts a secret space program between the US and the Soviet Union to colonize Mars, and many people at the time believed it to be true.

Another important part of the video is the story of Gary McKinnon, a British hacker who claimed to have broken into NASA’s computer system and found information about the secret US space program. McKinnon said he saw a spreadsheet titled “non-terrestrial officers”, which could indicate the existence of a secret space fleet. However, after being charged with trespassing by the US government, McKinnon faced the risk of being extradited to the US and facing a 70-year prison sentence, but the British government blocked this due to NASA’s poor cybersecurity.

The video also suggests that NASA may be gradually releasing more information about Mars in preparation for exploration by private companies like SpaceX. According to AJ, this could be a way to avoid surprise revelations from private companies, which operate with less oversight than government agencies. AJ suggests that Elon Musk, when he gets to Mars, will likely make public everything he finds, regardless of whether it damages NASA’s reputation or not.

At the end of the video, AJ reminds viewers of the channel’s other interactive mediums, such as the podcast and the Discord community, inviting people to join in to discuss and learn more about the mysterious theories. He also highlights the support from the Patreon community, where viewers can donate to help the channel grow and receive special perks.
