Hollyoaks reveals violent Abe Fielding twist in early streaming release
Peri sees his dark side.
Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (December 11), which is available to watch now on streaming service Channel 4 and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

Hollyoaks has aired more violent scenes involving Abe Fielding, in the show’s latest episode.
This week, with Abe and Peri’s wedding approaching and Cleo still being held captive in the flat, he continued to try and keep his two lives separate – with Cleo thinking that he previously split up with Peri.
But when Abe returned home drunk after his stag do, he fell asleep, and Cleo saw a call from his mum Marie, who until now she has thought was dead. When she listened to Marie’s voicemail, she also realised that Abe and Peri’s wedding was still on.

In today’s episode, Abe woke up to find Cleo throwing up, and she explained that her eating disorder had relapsed after she ate the kebab that he brought home.
Abe’s reaction was cruel, and he called Cleo weak, but he later softened and agreed to run her a bath. Cleo’s face changed as soon as Abe left the room, and it became clear that she is playing him.
With Cleo in the bathroom, there was a knock at the door, and Peri marched into the flat with hangover food for Abe. He panicked and tried to convince her to leave but she insisted there was lots to do ahead of the wedding.
She headed towards the bathroom, so Abe tried to stop her, violently grabbing her arm. He shouted at Peri and pushed her, and she banged her head on the wall.
Peri was kicked out the flat and returned home, where she tearfully examined the cut on her head. Leela noticed that she was bleeding and wanted to know if Abe was responsible for her injury.
Meanwhile, Abe found Cleo unconscious in the bathroom, and he carried her back down to the basement room.
Cleo told Abe that she had a sharp pain in her arm, the same as before she had a heart attack. She explained that her eating disorder had been back for months, and she felt like she didn’t have long left to live.
For her to die happy, Cleo asked Abe to marry her tomorrow, and he was forced to say yes. But this is part of Cleo’s secret escape plan, so what is her next move?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
