The influencer was found dead during her pool party, with all guests becoming potential suspects. While Rayne’s controlling and manipulative behaviour could have provided several characters with a motive, it seems the police are still in the dark as to who exactly may have taken things too far and actually killed her.

In tonight’s (September 28) episode, Romeo and Peri had a confrontation, with him accusing the nurse of not being exactly fond of Rayne.

“You hated her, you made that pretty clear,” Romeo told Peri right as the police called her phone.

Later on, the two discussed Rayne’s ex Brent being charged with kidnapping, but being cleared of murdering the influencer.

A worried Romeo was paranoid the detectives on the case would look into him next (“They always think it’s the boyfriend!”), to which Peri encouraged him to tell the truth about some mysterious event that might just provide him with the alibi he so desperately needed.

Romeo was adamant they should keep quiet, though what he and Peri were up to at the time of Rayne’s death hasn’t been revealed just yet.

“No one can know what happened that day,” Romeo insisted.

In the final scenes, a spiralling Romeo rewatched one of Rayne’s videos, scrolling through comments of people accusing him of having killed her. Distraught, he deleted his social media account.
