Hollyoaks character to become ‘most dangerous killer ever’ in show history as death is confirmed
Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) set to become the latest in a long line of Hollyoaks serial killers after he claimed the life of much-loved fan-favourite Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith).
Dilly was murdered by Jez in blood-curdling scenes earlier this week, which left fans absolutely devastated.
Fans suspected that Jez possessed murderous qualities after he exhibited signs of a darker side but he seemingly turned over a new leaf following the time jump in September.
The character, as viewers know, is the long-lost twin brother of the menacing Patrick Blake (also played by Jeremy Sheffield). He was introduced as part of a contentious twist last year that turned the Blake family tree on its head.
Initial reports claimed that his mum Martha (Sherrie Hewson) – who has dementia – would be a serial killer but following the untimely death of Dilly it seems that Jez is actually the one to fear.
A source told The Sun: ‘Hollyoaks is known for its serial killers, but they’ve gone all out this time.
‘It’s safe to say this bombshell reveal will see Jez unmasked as the most dangerous murderer to ever grace the village.
Prior to the time jump, it was implied that Jeremy had killed before when he hinted that he buried bodies in his allotment so it seems that this will, in fact, be the case. Dilly, however, is the first character in the village to have been killed by him.
Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) – who was delighted to have a seemingly normal father following the ordeal of having Patrick as a dad – will be left devastated upon returning home to find out that Dilly has been murdered.
Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 7am on Channel 4’s streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
