The Traitors US fans were left reeling over a reality TV battle in the latest episode, branding it the ‘best roundtable’ of the program so far.

The third season of the American series is currently airing, with some of the celebrity cast including Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause, Lord Ivar Mountbatten and Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari.

The famous faces haven’t been holding back when trying to determine who the Traitors are during banishments, with poor Zac Efron being dragged into a vicious argument on the most recent episode on Peacock.

Zac’s brother, Dylan Efron, has been leading the charge against Bob The Drag Queen, but the castle was shaking when Rob ‘Boston Rob’ Mariano indulged in some Traitor-on-Traitor violence by publicly agreeing with the presenter’s suspicions and encouraging everyone else to vote for him.

‘Since I got here, there has been one person who has been quarterbacking the entire show, who has the love and admiration of many, many people,’ the Survivor legend said, before naming the RuPaul’s Drag Queen star.

‘And I believe that person is the person that’s a Traitor. Ask yourselves who, every time there is a decision, there’s a deflection: Bob the Drag Queen.’

‘I’m just going to say nine words. I swear to God that I am a Faithful,’ Bob defended, to which his co-star quickly replied: ‘Okay, let me say two words: You’re not.’

Bob’s outburst did little to convince his castmates and he got a whopping 11 votes, cementing his exit.

Standing up in front of the cast, he said he ‘swore to God’ he was a Faithful. But as he left the castle, he added: ‘I don’t believe in God: I’m a Traitor.’

Fans watching on from home couldn’t get enough of the scenes, and flocked to social media to unpack the tense episode.

In a new post on Reddit, user Dare2Zlatan declared that it was the ‘best roundtable I’ve seen on the show’.

After listing out some of the best moments, they cheered: ‘And it feels like we’re just getting started! This is going to be an exciting season.’

In the comments below, ScrollerN agreed: ‘[Fire] roundtable. No matter what the consequences are for their games, they delivered some great tv tonight [sic].’

BreatheIn767 penned: ‘When I tell you I was GLUED to my screen the last 30 minutes. That was art.’

Mia123445 wrote: ‘I don’t know if this beats the Dan implosion last season, but it’s absolutely up there.

‘The whole time I was like “Holy s**t, holy s**t they’re actually doing this.” I have a feeling the move will harm Rob’s game more than help it, but that was still so much fun.’

‘That was straight CINEMA! The slow head turn Rob did to look at Bob. I was screeeeaming,’ Banananananaphonez commented.

As Pinkmankid added: ‘By far my favorite episode of any version of The Traitors I have ever seen.’

Elsewhere at the roundtable, Dylan – who had been suspicious of Bob from the beginning – also seized his moment at the roundtable, leading to his Hollywood star sibling awkwardly catching some strays.

‘I genuinely think you’re a Traitor,’ the Down to Earth host told the drag legend. ‘What’s the easier game for a Traitor to play? Yes, I would play a very quiet one because I can’t be boisterous.

‘What would Bob do? Bob is an amazing actor. I grew up with an actor.’

Snapping back, Bob declared: ‘Not a good one.’

While Dylan and co were taken aback, the Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania was all of us as she jumped to Zac’s defense, fuming that the remark ‘wasn’t nice’.

Following Bob’s banishment, she made a beeline for him, adding: ‘Good job, Dylan. And listen, your brother is a good actor.’

Zac, 37, rose to fame starring in the Disney Channel movie series High School Musical, going on to appear in Hairspray, 17 Again, Baywatch and The Greatest Showman.

Meanwhile his younger brother has worked behind-the-scenes as a producer and stuntman.

Last year Zac told E! News he believed his brother could win The Traitors.

‘I hope he does, because he’s so good at games. He always has been, since we were kids. He’s like the game master. … If anyone can do this, it’s him. I’m rooting for him,’ he said.
