The time has come to find out who will be crowned winner of The Traitors, as the season three finale is about to land on the BBC in just a few hours.

After some terrifying challenges involving creepy clowns and dolls, Claudia Winkleman showing off her array of red gloves, and even more backstabbing than ever before, the beloved programme is coming to an end, and we’ll have to patiently wait for the celebrity version later this year.

We started off with the three original Traitors in the ‘sisterhood’, Armani Gouveia, Linda Rands, and Minah Shannon, before they were all turned on and banished in blistering betrayals.

Minah was left ‘blindsided’ after recruiting Charlotte Berman to the dark side, who then invited Freddie Fraser in before turning on him and voting him out.

Now, Charlotte is just moments away from being revealed as a Traitor to Francesca Rowan-Plowden, who won the special role of becoming a Seer in a huge twist.

Will Charlotte still be able to convince the others she’s a Faithful and make it all the way to the end? Or will the Seer’s power become her downfall?

While we wait to find out, we’ve taken a look into her private life – including the truth behind her Welsh accent.

Is Charlotte actually Welsh?

Charlotte is a 33-year-old business director from London, who recently moved to Hampshire.

Talking about her reasoning for wanting to take part in the show, Charlotte said: ‘I have loved the show since the very start and think it would be such a fun thing to take part in. A real ‘money can’t buy’ experience getting to play the game.’

When she was introduced in the game, Charlotte revealed that she would be putting on a fake Welsh accent to try and convince the others that she was a Faithful, insisting it would appear more trust-worthy.

She said: ‘I’m from London where I am born and bred. I’ve been putting on a Welsh accent because my mum’s from Wales.

‘It’s one of the most trustworthy accents so in a game where we need people to trust each other, I need an accent that people can trust.’

While several people were left beyond baffled by her choice, it seems to be working for her so far…

Is Charlotte married?

Following from the dramatic ‘red breakfast’ reveal where Tom Elderfield and Alex Gray confessed to the others that they were secretly in a relationship in season one and the Bafta-worthy moment from Diane Carson where she told viewers that Paul Gorton wasn’t her son, ‘But Ross is…’, viewers have been convinced there must be another secret relationship on The Traitors this year, aside from the two sisters, Armani and Maia who revealed themselves at the beginning.

In fact, several have shared theories that Charlotte and British diplomat Alexander Dragonetti, who joined the players late in the game after ‘sacrificing’ himself during the first challenge, are actually married.

But it’s definitely not true, though Charlotte is married to a man called Alexander.

She’s posted several pictures with her partner over on Instagram, including one in September where they celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary.

‘Brb busy spinning my web of lies,’ she wrote alongside one clip from the show.

Talking about her plans for the prize money if she wins, Charlotte previously said: ‘There are a few things; we’re looking at going through fertility treatment soon, so money towards that would be great.

‘A safari holiday would be incredible because why not celebrate if I win! And we’ve recently moved so I would love to redecorate and bring all my saved inspo pictures to life.’
