The Traitors star Alexander Dragonetti set to ‘rake in over £1,000,000’ by 2026
The Traitors star Alexander admits true feelings about becoming a 'sex symbol'
The Traitors breakout star Alexander Dragonetti may have lost out on the jackpot but is predicted to earn seven figures after becoming the nation’s ‘king’.
The former diplomat, 38, is poised to become the most successful contestant from the BBC show in history as he already boasts the most Instagram followers out of any former player.
His popularity could net him in excess of £1,000,000 a year according to Riley Gardiner, founder of No Strings Public Relations, who spoke to Metro.
Even though it has only been days since the final, Alexander has already racked up 172K followers, beating the likes of season 2 stars Harry Clark (162K) and icon Diane Carson (73K).
Alexander also has more than 100K than his co-player Linda Rands (41K), whose terrible but entertaining acting on The Traitors was even awarded a billboard in Leicester Square.
He could now monetise his new-found popularity after becoming the people’s ‘winner’ with TV gold moments including falling into a bush and operatically performing a nursery rhyme backwards.

Riley said: ‘I can only imagine how many brands have already been flooding his DMs with opportunities to advertise – especially now while there are so many eyes on him.
‘On top of this, because of his career as a diplomat and the fact he is well-spoken and eloquent, I can imagine him getting lots of public speaking opportunities too. I can definitely see some kind of partnership or ambassadorship for Mencap in the near future.

‘We don’t know how long this fame will last (likely not a long time – even though we do all love him!), but if Alexander goes gung-ho and says yes to all these opportunities coming his way, he can definitely earn in excess of £1m over the next year.’
Meanwhile, PR and celebrity expert Chad Teixeira said that if Alexander plays his cards right, he could earn in excess of £500,000 a year.
Alexander could add to his bank balance by monetising several avenues including – his ‘army’ will be pleased – a TV show.
Chad told Metro: ‘Alexander could secure spots in high-profile reality shows such as I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! or Celebrity Masterchef, earning an estimated £50,000 to £150,000 per season.’
Bookies Ladbrokes even gave him a 3/1 odds of reuniting with Claudia Winkleman on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
When previously asked by Metro if he could be headed to the ballroom, he responded coyly: ‘I haven’t really thought about any of the future yet. I’m just getting to today was sort of all my energy just doing that. I would love to take any I’d love to sort of be open to any opportunities that come out as I love new things, and so let’s see.

‘But today is probably not the day to think about it too much. I haven’t actually done any of that thinking if I’m honest, but you know, I love doing new things, so let’s see.’
If not mainstream TV, then Chad believed Alexander could carve a niche on social media.
He said: ‘He could launch a podcast or YouTube channel discussing psychological strategy, social dynamics, or behind-the-scenes insights into reality TV. This would bring an estimated ad revenue and sponsorship deals: £20,000 to £100,000 annually, depending on audience engagement and content output.’
With his growing social media presence, he could also monetise his popularity through influencer marketing deals and working with fashion and lifestyle brands.

‘Sponsored Instagram posts and collaborations with brands like BoohooMAN, Deliveroo, and Audible could bring in £3,000 to £10,000 per post, with long-term partnerships potentially exceeding £100,000 annually,’ Chad explained.
Alexander’s background in diplomacy and his strategic prowess on The Traitors means another area he could explore his public speaking engagements at corporate events, reality TV conventions, and personal development seminars. He could earn up to £30,000 for one event.
Chad said: ‘In summary, Alexander’s potential earnings from his post-The Traitors career could realistically range between £100,000 and £500,000 plus within the next 12 months, depending on the opportunities he pursues.
‘By strategically aligning himself with the right brands and media outlets, he could establish a long-term career in the entertainment industry.’

Chad also predicted that Alexander would ‘immerse himself’ in a charity ambassador role, using his platform to align with causes related to mental health, strategy, and personal growth.
On The Traitors, Alexander explained if he won the money he would donate the jackpot to learning disability charity The Royal Mencap Society in honour of his brother who had global developmental delay and autism and died when he was just 17 years old.
‘My brother had special needs and used to go to a summer camp, and I’d like to send some money their way to keep it going because it gives parents a break,’ he said.
While Alexander narrowly missed out on a piece of the prize money, his fans have swooped into action in his place – and have donated a staggering £17,000 since Friday.
However Alexander chooses to play his hand, Chaid said: ‘The world is his oyster and he has so many opportunities to potentially capitalise off and form a successful career in the [entertainment] space. ‘
