Hollyoaks has confirmed where Cleo McQueen and Sienna Blake’s relationship will go next, after their surprise kiss.
In this week’s episodes, the pair’s stories collided when Sienna spotted Cleo in the village with Abe in the boot of Joel’s car.
Sienna secretly wanted to keep an eye on Abe as well, after Martha told her and Jez that she had revealed to him where Dilly was buried.
With Sienna agreeing to help Cleo move Abe into the secret room in his flat, she was shocked when Cleo decided to try and poison her abuser’s breakfast the next day.
But the plan went very wrong, and Abe threw the bowl of porridge at Cleo when he realised she was trying to kill him. Sienna later found Cleo crying in the shower, distraught at the situation.
Sienna comforted Cleo and the pair shared an emotional moment, realising that they have a lot in common. They got even closer and shared a romantic kiss.
Abe was later killed by Jez, who wanted to keep his latest kill under wraps. But there was another twist as Grace then found Abe’s body and framed Mercedes, who was arrested for murder.
In scenes that will air next week, Sienna is keen to speak to Cleo about their unexpected kiss. But with her cousin wrongfully imprisoned, Cleo has bigger concerns to deal with.
The police station is filled with protesters wanting answers about Mercedes, especially as she is extremely weak from her cancer treatment.
But there may be hope for the McQueen legend, as when Donny discusses Abe’s case with Misbah, they start to wonder if they have the wrong person behind bars.
Later, Cleo realises the error of her ways and reaches out to Sienna via text. When they meet up, she apologises for being off with her previously.
Could this mark the start of an exciting new romance in the village?
Nadine Mulkerrin, who plays Cleo, said about this new storyline: “I’m rooting for them, and I hope the audience are too. I think they will be quite surprised at this new little relationship as it blossoms.”
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
