The Why Files · 2024 Episode 5 · Knights Templar | Forbidden History and their Secret Quest for Atlantis - Plex

Explore the story of the Knights Templar, who are often portrayed as warrior monks who protected Christians on the road to Jerusalem. However, the true story is much more complex. According to legend, the Knights Templar not only protected but also searched for ancient artifacts under the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, in search of mysterious technology and powers from the lost civilization of Atlantis.

When the Knights Templar arrived in Jerusalem, they began mining under the Temple of Solomon and discovered treasures such as the Ark of the Covenant, the Sword of Destiny, and the Holy Grail, along with mysterious texts.

These artifacts were said to have extraordinary powers, including the ability to generate unlimited energy, heal, and even fly. The ancient documents reveal that Atlantis, a legendary civilization, possessed this powerful technology before it was destroyed by a global catastrophe.

Atlantis’s story includes the ability to control the weather, communicate remotely, and a white powder that is said to have healing and energy properties. The Knights Templar are tasked with protecting and keeping these discoveries secret, as they could cause great turmoil if they fell into the wrong hands.

The shocking discoveries of the Knights Templar, including important religious relics such as the bones of Mary Magdalene, John the Baptist, and Jesus, along with those of Mary’s children. These discoveries could destroy the foundations of the Catholic Church, so the Knights Templar had to keep them secret and protected from the Pope and other powers.

Did The Knights Templar Believe In God? -

In addition to discovering religious relics, the Knights Templar also discovered an alternative belief system that did not fully adhere to Catholic doctrine. They secretly studied ideas such as the eternal goddess, reincarnation, and a natural connection to the Creator. Although they maintained the guise of devout Christians, they were actually mystics, believing that enlightenment could be achieved without organized religion.

With their growth and success, the Knights Templar became a powerful empire with the first banking system and power structures. However, when King Philip IV of France felt threatened by their wealth, he teamed up with Pope Clement V to destroy them. On October 13, 1307, hundreds of Templars, including Grandmaster Jacques de Molay, were arrested, tortured, and tried. Although a Vatican document discovered in 2001 shows that they were pardoned, Philip IV succeeded in disbanding the order in 1312.

Despite their disbandment, the Knights Templar lived on through secret groups and organizations such as the Freemasons and Rosicrucians. They left their mark all over the world, from Scotland and Nova Scotia to other parts of the Americas.

Some artifacts, such as the Kensington Stone, show that Vikings were present in America before Columbus, which fits with the Templar legend of them being the first to reach America. The symbols and beliefs of the Knights Templar still exist and are found in many structures and symbols today, including those of the Freemasons.

Rosicrucianism, characterized by the rose and cross symbols, is also a symbol associated with the Knights Templar. This raises the question of why the Knights Templar spent so much effort and money to conceal their heritage.

The goal of the Knights Templar was not only to protect secrets, but also to improve the world by using ancient knowledge and artifacts. They plan to make this knowledge public when society is ready, and Timothy Hogan, currently the Grandmaster of one of the Templar orders, is preparing for this revelation.

Hogan believes that these secrets, currently hidden in treasures around the world (seven of which are in the United States), can bring about significant positive change, helping to solve global problems such as war, poverty, and pollution. He believed that these secrets would be made public in a way that no government or religion could completely control the information, ensuring that everyone would benefit.

However, Hogan has faced criticism from some, especially regarding his personal life and professional reputation. Some have argued that he is doing it mainly to promote his books and attract viewers for his shows. Although Hogan has extensive knowledge of Templar history and related artifacts, his claims lack concrete evidence.

Although some people doubt the authenticity of the secrets and artifacts that Hogan mentions, others find his theories interesting. The big debate is whether the Templar secrets and artifacts, if they do exist, can really bring about a major change for the future of humanity.
