Indiana Fever Send Strong Three-Word Message To Caitlin Clark After Big WNBA News

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark has been viewed as a generational talent in her first year in the WNBA.

She’s the leading candidate to win the Rookie of the Year award, behind season averages of 19.1 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game.

The Fever recently announced that the rookie set a new WNBA record for the most double-digit scoring games by a first-year player.

After Clark made WNBA history, Indiana posted the news on social media, while sharing a message that credits the rookie for her scoring ability.

“Rook gets buckets,” the Indiana Fever posted.

Clark leads all rookies in average scoring and leads the WNBA in average assists.

Clark and the Fever welcome the Dallas Wings to townSunday, where the rookie will look to extend the streak.

The last time Clark was held to single digits in the scoring realm was a 91-81 victory for the Fever on Jun. 13.

Clark finished that game with seven points, six assists, and four rebounds. The rookie shot 3-of-11 from the field and 1-of-6 from three-point range.
