Hollyoaks star Anya Lawrence has revealed what’s next for Vicky Grant after Ethan Williams’ shock wedding day death. Ethan fell to his death during Monday’s (October 7) episode of the Channel 4 soap just hours after tying the knot with Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) in a plot development which left fans absolutely reeling.
The circumstances which led to his demise remain shrouded in mystery, though speculation has already commenced, with the leading theory being that someone pushed him. Despite having a row with her husband over a secret abortion Vicky (Anya Lawrence) had at Christmas, Sienna was absolutely heartbroken to find her soulmate dead on the roof of their wedding car.
But given that she was the last person to see him alive, that we know of, she was hauled in for questioning by the police on Tuesday (October 8). Elsewhere, Vicky has some explaining to do after turning up to the wedding on a mission to win back Ethan but failing to do so in the process.

Speaking about the latest Hollyoaks drama, Anya said: “I don’t know why Vicky is being such an idiot thinking she’s going to win against Sienna, she is terrifying. Vicky really does have a death wish.
“It’s going to be so messy. I’m so glad they’ve trusted me with these storylines. I’m there more than my actual home at the minute, which I’m so grateful with.”

The actress went on to share what she’d like to happen to Vicky as she tries to move on from the loss of Ethan. She said: “I actually want to get into Vicky’s back story.
“I’m so intrigued because there’s questions I don’t even know the answer too. I want to get into how being in the foster care system has actually effected her.”

Anya made her debut as Vicky back in 2022 as the foster daughter of Scott Drinkwell but her dad Donny Clark (Louis Emerick) has since arrived in the village to rekindle his relationship with his daughter.
At the end of Wednesday’s (October 9), episode, available to stream on Channel 4, Robbie Roscoe (Charlie Wernham) paid one of his dodgy pals to go to the police to say he watched Sienna push Ethan to his death in a bid to protect Vicky, but will his plan work out?
