The return of a popular 90s actress to a popular TV series, with developments surrounding her character Martha Blake. She first appeared in May, and the plot quickly raised suspicions that Martha could be the show’s next serial killer.

In the process, viewers discovered many surprising things about the character’s complicated relationship.

Martha Blake revealed that her son, Jeremy, was the twin brother of the deceased Patrick Blake, and also Sienna’s biological father. Martha then took Jeremy captive, explaining to Sienna and Dilly Harcourt that she was only trying to protect them from Jeremy. Jeremy then accused his mother of dementia, which later led to Martha being placed in a nursing home.

Although Martha has not been seen on screen since the show made a year-long time jump, actress Sherry, who plays Martha, has confirmed that her character will be returning in the near future. She revealed in a podcast that she has returned to the show and will be appearing in the next titles.

The reason she did not appear in August was because the show was in the process of changing with the time jump. She explained that her character was placed in a nursing home during that time, but she has now returned and will be living with Sienna.

Although Sienna kicked Jeremy out of the house, Sherry said that everyone will be back together, even if the story is a bit confusing and complicated. She admitted that she was confused by the plot and had to ask what the next scene was.

Martha will likely play a key role in supporting Sienna after Ethan’s unexpected death. Ethan passed away after collapsing during Monday’s episode, shortly after fulfilling his dream of marrying Sienna. Actor Matthew, who played Ethan, said he was heartbroken to be leaving the show.

He said he had always considered the show home and never thought his story would end this way.
