Frankie and Dillon have found themselves involved with the villainous Grace Black and Rex Gallagher in recent months, with the latter pair collaborating with DI Banks in the running of a criminal gang.
The group’s activities have included exploiting both Frankie and Dillon, who have found themselves battling drug addiction. In Monday’s (21 April) episode, tensions mounted as several villagers attempted to help the duo, though the pair mysteriously vanished before receiving help.
Elsewhere, Rex, however, seemingly found a conscience as he told Donny to “look closer to home” in regards to DI Banks, with the police officer gradually growing more suspicious of his superior during tonight’s (22 April) instalment.
Grace, meanwhile, attempted to throw suspicion off herself by assuring both Darren and Nancy that Frankie was probably fine. She later invited Nancy for some drinks at The Loft, informing her that Frankie and Dillon were staying with Kat.
After Nancy discussed her marital problems with Darren and the ongoing health battles of her son Oscar, Grace handed her a wad of money in attempt to win her over, though Nancy seemed somewhat curious as she remarked upon the “unusual” act from Grace.
After shooing Nancy away, Grace subsequently received a visit from DI Banks, who informed her that Donny was a figure to keep an eye on after he began snooping around their criminal gang.
Despite thinking the matter was resolved, DI Banks could find himself in a spot of bother after Donny photographed his boss during a shady deal. Will he uncover the mystery and be able to find Dillon and Frankie?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
