This Love Is Blind Star Seemingly Disappeared Mid-Show Amid Disturbing Allegations
Many fans are disappointed that cast members of Love Is Blind Season 7 didn’t find their match in the Netflix hit show or simply called off their engagement before the Mexico trip. But it’s not about them missing out on “the one.” It’s just that fans wanted to see more of these reality TV stars, even for some toxic drama. One of them is Bohdan Olinares, a 36-year-old former Marine who previously “ignored some red flags” in his five-year marriage.
But after Bohdan’s love triangle with Marissa George and Ramses Prashad, who are now navigating their compatibility as an engaged couple, fans felt like the former just disappeared. Now, he’s facing allegations of sexual assault from a “terrified” ex. Did Marissa dodge a bullet? Bohdan Was Accused Of Sexual Assaulting An Ex Before Love Is Blind Season 7
Some fans on TikTok recently discovered that an anonymous user had accused Bohdan of sexual assault on a Facebook Group called, “Are we dating the same man DC.” In the post, the woman stated that she “matched with Bohdan a few years back, and we ended up going on dates/hooking up for about a month or two.”
They lost contact for a while but reconnected in October 2023. Production for LIB season 7 started early this year. “We met up and had a couple of drinks (he and I had been out prior to meeting and had been drinking some),” the accuser wrote. “We began hooking up, and things quickly escalated to an aggressive nature.”
Several couples from Love Is Blind have stayed married and have built a family together after the show.
She explained that they’d had “rough sex” before, but she didn’t consent to the said incident where she couldn’t breathe and was left “terrified and crying.” Bohdan apologized, but the accuser said it doesn’t excuse the violation. “I was not expecting for any of this to happen, and I’m just glad that I never have to see him again,” she said.
“Please, please do not trust this man,” she warned everyone in the forum. “My friend reported him the second his profile was seen, and I strongly encourage others to do the same.”
Bohdan hasn’t commented on the allegations. But since then, he’s reached out to the accuser, causing her to change her number. “I no longer feel comfortable because someone here clearly said something to him,” she wrote in a follow-up message. “I’m confident that it was him who messaged me from a burner … Thanks to those of you who did that, you are truly horrible pieces of s–t. I had to change my number.”
Bohdan Seemingly Disappeared After Marissa Chose Ramses In The Pods
The allegations against Bohdan surfaced when fans began to wonder where he went after Marissa chose Ramses in the pods. Bohdan and Marissa established a strong connection after bonding over their military backgrounds. Before the lawyer’s political conversation with her fianceé, Ramses, she and Bohdan had their own in the pods. So, fans were surprised that the latter didn’t find another match (pre-allegations, of course) and just seemingly disappeared.
Leo is pushing back on what fans are saying about him.
“I know some people like to be apolitical, but I just don’t believe that you should be apolitical,” Marissa added. “It’s just my opinion.”
The same goes for Bohdan, “a proud immigrant and Ukrainian refugee” who’s “beyond grateful to now be living what he considers the American dream,” per his bio for the show. “Any future partner of Bohdan must embrace his history and unique upbringing because it ‘gives [people] a more complete look’ at what he values and where he’s come from.”
Marissa initially drew flak for choosing Ramses over Bohdan. While some eventually realized how good the two look together, others felt like Marissa’s connection with Bohdan was “stronger.” One wrote on Reddit: “I feel she had more positive substantive conversations with Bohdan,” adding that it was silly to choose Ramses over his Zodiac sign.
Love Is Blind’s producers tried to get a cast member who spoke out about the show to pay them $4 million.
But if the allegations against Bohdan are true, Marissa might have just dodged a bullet. She also noted that Bohdan wasn’t as open as Ramses back in the pods. “With Bohdan, he didn’t really want to talk about that stuff on camera,” she told Reality Tea. “I want the person in this experiment with me to really be in it and ignore that. I wanted to be in a bubble, and I felt like Bohdan burst our bubble a bit.”
