The Traitors fans demand huge shake-up for season 4 after ‘mistake’
The Traitors' Charlotte squirms as she's forced to reveal her allegiance to Frankie
The Traitors viewers are convinced they have the best idea to shake up season 4 after a divisive plot twist.
The BBC show presented by Claudia Winkleman was won by faithfuls Leanne and Jake, who were helped by The Seer exposing Charlotte as a traitor to Francesca.
However, the introduction of the new challenge has left some fans claiming it made the ending of the show ‘an absolute anti-climax’ as it was clear whose fates were sealed.
Instead, they have suggested tweaking The Seer by giving the power to a player, whose identity can not be revealed, earlier in the series.
They also want faithfuls to be disincentivised from banishing other faithfuls around the fire pit by adding a financial penalty for each incorrect elimination.
On X, @femielufowojujr explained: ‘Tonight’s final an absolute anti-climax. If it ain’t broke why fix it. The formata Flat champers all round.’

Echoing their sentiment, @randomgirl_411 said: ‘I think there needs to be some kind of financial consequence for every faithful they banish in the final. Last night clear faithfuls were gone because two people wanted more cash.’

@Dan58955694 added: ‘Each individuals prize money should be set at the start of the fire pit (total amount divided by remaining faithfuls) and any faithfuls that’s are banished see their portion of the prize pot banished too. Faithfuls shouldn’t be thinking money at the final fire pit.’
Discussing The Seer twist on X, some fans praised the power for being ‘entertaining’, while others argued it was ultimately misused and should be introduced at the start of the game.
@natconway said: ‘While the Seer twist was entertaining last night I think ultimately it was a mistake. Not having a Traitor in the last round at the fire pit makes the show lose any real sense of stakes and it’s all ultimately just a little flat.’

@FinucaneOlivia added: ‘Would be better if the seer can ask for one persons true identity to be revealed. But it’s done in private in the form of a letter and it’s not revealed to the others whose identity the seer has requested. That way it is a benefit to the seer and not a poisoned chalice.’
@MMassiah08 said: ‘The seer would be a great addition if no one else knew who had the seer and much earlier in the competition.’
@KevonH agreed: ‘I saw someone saying the seer role should be given at the start. So they have to use that to convince people without admitting they have it (traitors would kill them). And if the seer gets elimiated they have to pass it onto someone else. I like that idea. At the end it ruined it.’
After the highly anticipated finale, Leanne and Jake walked away with the £94,600 jackpot with fellow faithfuls Alexander and Francesca narrowly missing out on a slice of the prize.

Speaking after her epic win, Leanne told Metro: ‘The whole game was just a whirlwind. I really, really enjoyed myself while we were in the castle.
‘And I think the best thing to come out of it for me is the friendships that I’ve made with everybody, they’re all such incredible people.’
She went on: ‘Honestly, it still hasn’t sunk in. It’s been a crazy 24 hours. I’ve keeping it a secret for so long, it’s been a really, really long time, so it’s just bizarre to even being able to speak about it.’
Jake meanwhile said: ‘I just feel like I’m on cloud nine. It’s such a surreal experience, and I almost feel like I’m dreaming, still waiting to wake up from this dream… but yeah, I’m very grateful, very lucky and blessed.’
