Caitlin Clark Looks Stunning In Plunging Black Dress At TIME Awards
Caitlin Clark received another big honor this week – TIME’s 2024 Athlete of the Year.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, who led the Indiana Fever to the playoffs on way to winning Rookie of the Year, received the incredibly prestigious honor from TIME.
“Personally, I’m just scratching the surface of what I can do and hopefully how I can change the world and impact people,” she told TIME.
“There’s also been so many people that are not involved in women’s sports, that are just in the workforce, or whatever they do, and they’re just like, ‘Thank you for what you do for women.’ I’ve heard that a million times.”
On Wednesday night, Clark attended TIME’s awards show, to receive her big honor. She looked stunning in a black dress from Prada.
Clark’s fans were obsessed with her look on Wednesday evening.
“The dress is beautiful and so is she,” one fan wrote.
“Caitlin Clark at Time magazine event! Hair up. Nice look,” one fan added.
“Caitlin Clark wearing Prada 🖤,” one fan added.
Clark made headlines for some of her comments on Wednesday, when she admitted her white privilege played a role in her popularity.
“I want to say I’ve earned every single thing, but as a white person, there is privilege,” Clark said.
“A lot of those players in the league that have been really good have been Black players. This league has kind of been built on them. The more we can appreciate that, highlight that, talk about that, and then continue to have brands and companies invest in those players that have made this league incredible, I think it’s very important. I have to continue to try to change that. The more we can elevate Black women, that’s going to be a beautiful thing.”
Wednesday night, Clark, who averaged close to 20 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds per game, will accept her big-time award.
