Whatever on-court work and gym time Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark put in ahead of her second professional season seems to be working. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year is gearing up for her encore performance after a stellar first season, and a recent photo of Clark quickly picked up steam on social media.
The Fever wrapped up a three-game preseason stretch on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with an 81-76 victory over the Atlanta Dream, finishing the trio of warm-up games with an unbeaten 3-0 record.
Shortly after their final preseason game, the image of Clark standing in the huddle began making the rounds.
Clark appears to have added some serious muscle definition, and not surprisingly, fans couldn’t help but sound off about it as the reactions poured in.
“fell to my knees,” wrote one fan.
“this is my favorite thing ive ever seen in my life,” replied another.
“She is built to not be messed with.” said another Clark fan.
“Those arm muscles wow,” replied a user, adding a flexing emoji.
Fans were blown away by what seems to be some serious muscle put on by Clark ahead of the upcoming WNBA season. This isn’t the first time the Fever guard has gone viral this offseason, as fans echoed similar opinions after a photo of her flexing during an Iowa Hawkeyes game in early March went viral.
Along with being named the rookie of the year, Clark earned numerous additional accolades after being the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. She was named All-WNBA First Team, made the WNBA All-Star Game and led the league in assists, averaging 8.4 per game.
Clark also averaged 19.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game last season. Most importantly, she was integral in helping the Fever put together their most successful season since 2015, winning 20 games and snapping a seven-year playoff drought.
Clark and the Fever will begin the 2025 WNBA regular season on Saturday, May 17, at home against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. The Fever vs. Sky matchup will be nationally televised on ABC.
