Caitlin isn’t HYPE! Unc, Ocho, & Nick Van Exel responds to the Caitlin Clark HATE!
**Caitlin Clark Is Not All The Hype – She’s the Real Thing**
In the recent loss to the Atlanta Dream, Caitlin Clark still shined with 27 points and 11 assists. Despite only playing 44 WNBA games, she has already set a record with six games of 25 points and 10 assists – more than any other player in the history of the league.
Nick Van Exel commented: “I knew she was going to dominate the WNBA since she was playing in college.
Caitlin’s long range, ball handling, speed and vision are a constant threat to any defense. When you’re forced to stay close to her from midcourt, she’s going to break and create for her teammates.”
They compare Caitlin to players like Luka Dončić and Trae Young – players who were questioned for their size but rose to the top thanks to their all-around skills. Clark can score, create, play at her own pace, and is unaffected by pressure or criticism.
Ocho emphasized: “She doesn’t react to criticism – she just goes out there and plays. That’s what I respect the most about Caitlin.”
In addition, the panel also pointed out that skepticism about Clark comes partly from physical prejudice: she’s not as tall as A’ja Wilson or Breanna Stewart, but she has excellent technique. They think it’s unreasonable to expect a player who is both skilled and tall to be “given” all the ideal factors.
Despite facing harsh supervision – from the All-Star Game to every game of the season – Caitlin still maintains her composure. She becomes the center of attention on every court, attracting large audiences, creating the effect Allen Iverson once had in the NBA.
She is helping the WNBA grow viewership, increase sponsorships, and contribute to the push for higher female player salaries in the near future.
In summary, the group asserts: “Caitlin Clark is not a media product. She is truly good. She is helping to develop women’s basketball and change the way people view the WNBA.”
