Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston’s Priceless Reactions To Playoff Question
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever got back on the winning side of things with a 104-100 win over the Atlanta Dream. The Fever have now won eight of their ten games following the Olympic break and have gotten hot at the right time with the WNBA playoffs looming.
Clark finished the game with 26 points on 7-of-17 shooting, five rebounds, and 12 assists. But forward Aliyah Boston was the star of the show, notching 30 points on 11-of-16 shooting, 13 rebounds and a game-tying shot in the final seconds to send the game into overtime.
After the game, both Clark and Boston sat down for a press conference. When asked if the game felt like the playoffs, their reactions were perfect.
As Boston started to answer the question, Clark interrupted her by saying, “We’ve never played in a playoff game though, so.”
The two continued to have a minor discussion about the answer before moving on to the next question.
Clark and Boston have been one of the league’s best duos throughout the season. Both stars, along with Kelsey Mitchell, made a WNBA All-Star appearance and led Team WNBA to an upset win over Team USA. If they continue their top-level play into the postseason, the Fever could be dangerous.
