Clark caught fire from 3-point range in the first half, knocking down three triples to set the tone for what became a historic night. She poured in 15 points at the break and was only getting started.

In the third quarter, Clark made WNBA history with a tough stepback 3-pointer to pass Augustus (744) for the most points in a single season by a rookie.

The Fever only led by one point going into the fourth quarter and Clark took over to assure her team would come away with a win. The star rookie erupted for 13 points in the final frame, notching a new career-high in the process.

She was getting downhill to the rim…

…and shot the ball with confidence in the biggest moments of the game.

Her previous single-game best was 31 points against the Sky back on Aug. 30. She cleared that with ease against the Wings, going off for 35 points while adding eight assists to her total in a win.

She got it done from all three levels of the floor, hitting six 3-pointers while getting to the free throw line nine times.

The win locked the Fever into the No. 6 seed and a matchup with the Sun in the first round of the WNBA Playoffs with one game remaining in the season.
